Industry Standards Are Too Lax
To Protect Anyone…
So We Set REAL Standards
That Protect Everyone
Unfortunately, the home contracting industry isn’t known for its high ethical standards, but we’ve been working hard to change that. Over the decades, we’ve noticed patterns of behavior that are strong indicators of a contractor’s ability to finish the job properly.
It isn’t necessarily about good vs. evil so much as prepared vs. haphazard.
Most contractors are good people who want to do good work, but not all of them are in a position to follow through on their promises. Things like companies that operate on insufficient (or no) insurance probably don’t have the funds available to make things right if a mistake is made.
So we’ve put together this guide to help you decide whether a contractor is the right one for you and your home.
With this guide, you’ll know what questions to ask and which answers to expect and which are unacceptable when shopping for a contractor. We’ve even included a short checklist for you to use to compare one contractor with another.
We think it’s important that you pick a contractor you can trust to give you a finished product that will last for decades. Even if you decide that contractor isn’t us, we’re just glad to help you get one that works for you.
